Statement of Support

The following versions and releases of the XDC products are supported under various releases of the z/OS operating system as follows:
  • z/XDC z2.2:
    • Supports any z/OS release R2.3 and newer.
    • May be used on any hardware that can run z/OS R2.3 or newer.
    • z/XDC supports all machine instructions documented in the 13th (and older) editions of "z/Architecture Principles of Operation (SA22-7832)." This includes all instructions and features available on IBM z16 systems. 
    • c/XDC requires OPT(0) optimization.
